Abstract

Computer programming is a key knowledge, not only in post-graduate programs related to computer sciences, but also in many others linked to engineering. In fact, it is becoming more common even from high school. However, one of the most usual problems for students is the difficulty in the understanding of algorithms, as well as determining their efficiencies. Considering this panorama, this research tries to provide a contribution through an authoring tool for the creation of learning objects under the SCORM standard, which allows for the acquisition of such key skills. Moreover, a validation in a real educational environment is presented, specifically un a data structures course for systems engineering students in a Colombian college.
