It is a productive sector where natural characteristics of the raw material, grape, are very relevant for the final product, wine, to be a quality and differentiated product in terms of market. Especially aspects of historic nature and geographical proximity were assessed. The qualitative method was adopted, with 12 interviewees – actors that interact directly or indirectly with the wine production in the city. From the interviews, factors that could contribute to the development and competitiveness of this arrangement were identified. Abstract
