Abstract

A wideband wearable monopole patch antenna is presented in this paper. The antenna design has a defected ground. Rectangular slots are created on top patch and also on the defected ground surface. The antenna is designed and simulated on different substrates. Simulations are also performed by placing the antennas on phantom model. The antenna designed on FR4 substrate is fabricated.
