Strategic planning process within central public authorities in the Republic of Moldova

Abstract

The last years marked significant changes in the field of public administration in the Republic of Moldova. All interested parties and involved in the administration process, through joint effort, contribute to the process of development and modernization of public administration, to ensure the provision of quality public services to citizens. Understanding and applying the tools and methods of strategic and operational planning, strategic management in the public sector of the Republic of Moldova have become absolutely necessary for institutional development and the improvement of administrative capacity at the central level.
