Data was collected by using a structured questionnaire and further analysis was done by using SPSS 21.\nResults: The study showed that only 38.5% of the participants had adequate knowledge regarding oral manifestations of diabetes. The oral health attitudes and compliance of suggested oral cleanliness practices were also poor. The study results showed that 55% of the diabetic patients brushed their teeth once a day. While only 16.3% brushed twice a day. 39.4% of the participants did not visit the dental clinic within the last 1 year.\nConclusion: The study concluded that knowledge about the oral complications was deficient in the diabetic patients.
