We analyze the technological innovation capability of three major structures of manufacturing industry in China and the influence factors of the technological innovation capability. The results show that Chinese manufacturing industry structure is developing to the high technology density. Technological innovation capability can promote Chinese manufacturing industry structure to the development of high technology density. Expenditure on R&D, new products, expenditure on new products have a positive effect on the promotion of technological innovation capability. Abstract

This paper selects gross industrial products sales and technology date of manufacturing industries during 2001–2014, improves classification of manufacturing industries according to technology intensiveness by Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). This paper describes the evolution trend of manufacturing industry internal structure in recent 14 years in China. We analyze the technological innovation capability of three major structures of manufacturing industry in China and the influence factors of the technological innovation capability. The results show that Chinese manufacturing industry structure is developing to the high technology density. Technological innovation capability can promote Chinese manufacturing industry structure to the development of high technology density. 技术创新对中国制造业内部结构演化的影响分析
