K prekladu dramatického textu (z taliančiny)

Abstract

The article deals with the specifics of dramatic texts translation – separately considered dramas intended for staging and those intented for reading. It also analyzes recurrent errors made by students of interpreting-translation studies. The identified problems mainly concern following areas: inappropriately chosen global translation strategy, neglecting intertextual valences, pragmatic (logical) error, incorrent translation of figures of speech, contamination between similar phraseological units, insufficient general political and social overview, incorrect inflection of foreign toponyms and proper nouns, literal translation, ignoring the specifics of dramatic texts, unrecognized traits of author’s idiolect.
