Photoplay: An android application to stimulate children's cognitive development

Abstract

Learning through playing games and positive re-inforcement seems to work better for cognitive development of children rather than traditional methods. To awake interest in them, we have developed an Android application that can serve the purpose of entertainment and learning at the same time. Besides, we are working on creating a data set of labeled images with a goal to fine-tune the object detection algorithm we are working on, based on convolutional neural network, through users' participation.
