A distinctive feature of Pomelov's publications is reliance on materials from the State Archives of Kirov Region, as well as the author's personal meetings with majority characters of his books. He is distinguished by his tireless work to promote pedagogical knowledge and the history of his native Vyatka region, the desire to acquaint pedagogical community and students - future teachers with the results of his selfless work. Abstract

V.B. Pomelov is a well-known scientist, PhD in pedagogical sciences, professor. He has been teaching at the Vyatka State University for more than 40 years, more than a thousand young teachers graduated under his leadership.
