The transition from general education to legal practice education based on CIPP model

Abstract

As a discipline with strong practicality, the educational goal of law is to enable students to apply the learned knowledge to practice and solve practical problems under the premise of mastering basic theoretical knowledge. With the advent of the new era, the society's requirements for the practical skills of legal professionals are increasing day by day. This requires colleges and universities to strengthen legal practice education while conducting general education in law, let general education serve practical education, and cultivate legal professionals who can meet professional needs. Based on this, this article uses the CIPP model to construct an evaluation index system for legal practice education, and uses the analytic hierarchy process to calculate the index weights and determine the evaluation index system. Finally, it explores the turning path from general education to legal practice education, aiming to provide some useful references, In order to cultivate more outstanding legal professionals.
