Abstract
A technique is proposed for monitoring the parameters of an amplifier according to its power consumption during amplification of a dual-frequency test signal. A block diagram for monitoring the parameters of a radio transmitter amplifier in transient modes has been developed. The results of testing a broadband amplifier are presented in order to achieve equally high parameters over the entire operating frequency range. A technique has been developed for testing an amplifier in a mode with automatic mode control using a deterministic dual-frequency test signal, which makes it possible to simplify equipment testing and evaluate the power consumption of the output stage. A software has been developed to automate the process of measuring the electrical parameters of power amplifiers, which allows connecting the devices with programmed control, defining the settings of connected devices, set the frequency range in which measurements are to be taken and the measurement pitch. The program is designed to carry out automated measurements of the output power, linearity, spurious radiations of an amplifier in a given frequency range and generate a report on the measurements.
