Abstract

This work presents first of all the single wave operating interval (SWOI) approach which allows the modeling of a rectangular micro strip antenna by a transmission line. This approach allowed the calculation of the input impedance and the reflection and transmission coefficients variations resonance frequency of this antenna with an homogeneous and inhomogeneous / plasma dielectric substrate is proposed. The results obtained by the proposed approach are in good agreement with the HFSS software results.
