The experimental results and future development approaches are given. The radar can not only measure accurately the radar reflectivity factor, but also the radial velocity component and velocity spectrum width of the echoes from rainfall particle group movement. Abstract
This paper describes the general performance and technical features, development and applications of a new generation of (C-band) fully coherent pulsed Doppler weather radar. The experimental results and future development approaches are given.
