The research method adopted a systematic literature review method to conduct scientific articles indexed by Google Scholar, EBSCO, PubMed, ScienceDirect, and Emerald. Through the screening process, only fifteen articles meet the eligibility criteria. Research results show that university students are prone to experience academic burnout during online learning. Also, there is a different level of academic burnout suffered by students in higher education and senior high school.
