Abstract

INTRODUCTION One of the most difficult tasks charged to the contemporary artillery is to ensure the accuracy of artillery fire support. In order to achieve the high accuracy of fire for effect it is necessary to complete the tasks related to the preparation for firing and directing fire to the maximum possible extent. The technical preparation for firing, as one of the elements of preparation for firing and directing fire, is often underestimated. The most important element of technical preparation is the preparation of mortars for firing.
