Detection of anomaly in socio-economic databases, by Benford probability law

Abstract

We have applied Benford's Law to a variety of data collected from the official statistics and reports of three organisations: Bank Al Maghreb, Casablanca Stock Exchange, and Haut Commissariat aux plans. We use two statistics tests in order to check wether thoses data obey to Benford's Law or not.
