Automation of Airport Baggage Handling System Using Factory I/O and Control by WinSPS-S7 PLC

Abstract

This paper presents the automation for handling check in airport baggages. The layout and configuration of the baggage handling warehouse to implement the automated system is done using Factory I/O. Ladder programming has been developed by using WinSPS-S7 to control the operation for every process. This paper also presents the automation of handling baggages for a delay flight and direct flights.
