The author pays special attention to the examination of the essential characteristics of students’ empathic culture, reveals and substantiates the set of pedagogical conditions that ensure the effectiveness of the process of shaping the empathic culture of university students. The article presents and describes the humanistically oriented principles of orienting the student to the development of morally justified motives for future professional activity and the formation of an empathic culture. Abstract
