Abstract

In recent days power generation using renewable energy sources have gained more attention. In this context the most commonly used available energy sources are solar and wind. The work presented here is regarding the charging of low power electronic gadgets using the wind energy available during travelling. A DC generator with a single-ended primary-inductor converter provides voltage required for charging the gadgets. The device will get continuously charged by the external battery source which is connected to the proposed circuit. The device can be used as emergency source for charging electronic gadgets while travelling in a vehicle open to flow of air.
