Abstract

In this paper we describe our experience in assembling an optical circuit using mixed vendors optical DWDM environment. Alien wavelength is used to establish a 100 Gbps optical circuit between routing equipment, which in our case also serves as source and destination of a specific tunable wavelength, within RoEduNet DWDM network. The optical network is using electronic compensation of dispersion at the service network element level.
