The type of approach in this research is a qualitative approach. While the approach uses a case approach that requires data collection. The procedures for collecting data are conducting interviews, observations, and documentation. In this study, researchers used a constant comparative data analysis model (Constant Comparative Method). This study concludes that although PPMDK is categorized as a modern boarding school, the yellow book learning curriculum is like a salaf boarding school. The yellow book learning curriculum begins with planning, implementation, and evaluation. Method of reading books with bandongan and sorogan models. While the learning method is with lectures, demonstrations, and group work.
