While the proximity couple feed is used to enhance radiation properties of the array antennas. Abstract

This paper deals with the implementation of Dolph-Chebyshev window on a proximity-fed circularly polarized array slotted square patch antenna to attain side lobe level (SLL) suppression. The need of array antenna with suppressed SLL is sometimes required for enhancing the reliability of communication. The proposed array antenna is intended for 5GHz band wireless communication and consists of 5 square patches deployed on 2 layers of 0.8mm thick FR4 epoxy dielectric substrate.
