Abstract
The complexity of the national energy system requires special attention to the automation process. The production and use of electricity from classical or renewable energy sources can no longer be conceived without the automation of the technological process. The SCADA system is a technology that allows the operator to receive information from equipments located at distance and to send them instructions with limited control, in order to monitor and control the technological processes. Because the existing system is weak and the information’s are insufficient, it was proposed to optimize the graphical interface of the SCADA system. The proposed warnings are determined by the need to make a quick decision as a result of problems that may occur during the operation of energy installations. The interface was done with CITECT SCADA, and the improvements of the automation process will allow the implementation of this technology in the next stage.
