Abstract

This paper evaluates an isolated system using a character of triangle function (CTF) based control methodology for control and improved power quality. The hybrid-isolated system consists of a solar photovoltaic (SPV) array, diesel driven permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) and a battery energy storage system (BESS).
