Sports festival as a factor of increasing the interest of preschool children to attend the judo section

Abstract

The article substantiates the importance of including sports holidays in the work of a coach within organizing judo classes with preschool children. The article reveals the role of a sports festival as an effective means of pedagogical influence. The purpose of the study was to develop and test a program of sports holidays for classes with preschool children in the judo sports section. 42 young judoists at the age of 5-6 years of the first year of study took part in the study. It is revealed that spos holidays, through the creation of an emotionally positive motivational climate in the sports section, contribute to high attendance, high appreciation of the events held by parents and the creation of a steady interest of preschool children in classes in the judo section.
