Abstract

This text is an account of the management experience of Anfope in the period 2000 to 2002, when the authors were part of the presidency and the first treasury. The work proposes some reflections on the educational context of that historical moment. The article discusses aspects related to the education professionals' training policies under discussion in that period: the follow-up of the curricular guidelines for the formation of basic education teachers, and the debate on the Curriculum guidelines for the pedagogy course.
