Use and misuse of graphic animations and simulations in educational systems

Abstract

This paper presents one of the panels proposed at the International Workshop on Advanced Learning Technologies (IWALT 2000) taking place in Palmerston North (New Zealand) on 4-6 December 2000. It deals with the ways graphic animations and simulations are used, should be used, and should not be used, in educational systems.
