Abstract
The non-invasive bio-sensor to sensing the blood glucose is proposed. The optical bio-sensor is consists of Near-Infrared (NIR) LED, photo diode, and transducer to response the concentration of glucose which generally avoid finger puncturing. The wavelength of NIR LED is used to response the glucose that the 960nm optical spectrum of blood glucose is measured by the spectrometer system. The instrumentation amplifier is used in the transducer to sensing the concentration of glucose in the blood from the photodiode. The difference of two the measured read out value of the transducer for blood vessel with blood flow and without flow onto the fingertip. The adopted difference method can be excluding the same background tissue of the finger that the accuracy is improved. Measurement result shown that the measured voltage value is proportional to the concentration of the blood glucose. The proposed bio-sensor has a great potential in the health diagnosis and health-care applications to give human with the better life quality.
