Análise de e-maturity em uma instituição da ensino

Abstract

Information and communication technologies (ICTs) have gained significant relevance to the functioning and good results of different types of business, including in educational institutions. In this context, this qualitative study aimed to analyze e-maturity in an educational institution. To achieve the proposed objective, a study was performed using narratives at the Federal Institute of Sergipe (IFS). The collection of interpretive reports was carried out through semi-structured interviews applied to five strategic managers and two information technology managers. The results demonstrate that the constructs of infrastructure, technological leadership and support for the use and dissemination of ICTs constitute the administrative e-maturity of the institution, however, new actions and strategies must be implemented in order to enhance the functionalities and results obtained through the use of tools information technology.   Keywords: E-maturity, Infrastructure, Technological leadership, Support for ICT use and dissemination, Educational institution.
