Abstract

One of the first and most efficient uses of multimedia is education. In particular, online Web-based education is one of the most significant fields of research and development, with considerable economic interest However, the very limited, up to now, development of appropriately adapted pedagogical and teaching methodologies for the effective use of this technology hinders the further development of such systems.
