Abstract
The present work deals with a project aiming to increase the value of photovoltaic (PV) solar production for applications in residential building. To investigate this issue, this paper focuses on the optimal operation of a PV-based multi-source system and energy management. It is composed of two principal mechanisms of control: anticipation and reactive management. The anticipation, based on forecast information concerning load, electric prices, and meteorological conditions calculates an optimum planning for the allocation of the sources and the load rescheduling to satisfy the demand of user and also to minimize the energy cost. The reactive management procedure aims to realize the calculated plan and to take the appropriate correcting actions to handle possible unpredicted disturbances. The problems are formulated by using the Mix Integer Linear Programming (MILP) algorithm, considering various constraints. An example is given to illustrate the solution approach.
