The problem arose in connection with the widespread introduction of power electronics as the most effective means of providing the required operating modes of electromechanical and electrotechnological complexes. Due to the widespread use of funds power electronics in addition to harmonics generated by ferromagnetic elements, in distribution networks is amplified the influence of harmonics due to the characteristics of the key modes of the rectifiers, inverters, frequency converters, voltage level converters, and other units. Abstract

In this paper it has analyzed the structure of installed capacity in the Ukrainian Energy Sectors and presented trends in increasing electricity generation by wind power plants in Europe and Ukraine.
