Abstract

The problem of structural optimization of a coplanar rod structure on the basis of an iterative process is solved within the application of the method of genetic algorithms. Five variants of the objective optimization function are formulated. The developed algorithm can be used in the educational process in the disciplines of Strength of materials and Structural analysis.
