The main focus is on controlling position & speed of synchronous motor with permanent magnet. Abstract

AC Servo motors have applications in precise positioning like ROBOT, high speed performance & many more. For controlling AC servo motor most of the drive is equipped with traditional controller which may be of PI or PID type. Therefore the tuning of PI parameter used in this drive is very necessary. However, during some operating conditions, this controller may not givesatisfied perforcemance and precision.
