In order to solve the problem, we propose a heat determination method with two main steps: (i) welding temperature finding in steady state temperature distribution, (ii) unsteady state heat transfer solution finding and welding process simulating by ANSYS software. The pair of dissimilar material work pieces AISI 1020 - AISI 304 are investigated in the study. The results from theory computation and simulation show that the interface welding temperature is 1169.9oC. With this temperature, the parameters as friction speed (n), friction pressure (P1), and friction time (t1) are determined.
