The purpose of the article is to reveal the features of the organization of universities to prevent mental disorders in student youth during the pandemic. The article identifies the causes and factors that cause mental disorders in students during a pandemic. Particular attention is paid to highlighting gaps in the organization of the educational process of the distance format in universities, which have contributed to the deterioration of students’ mental health. Methods of diagnostics of mental states arising under the influence of the quarantine and self-isolation. Anti-epidemic measures for psychological and social assistance of students are considered. Abstract

The article substantiates the urgency of the research problem, due to the need to develop new forms of organizing the activities of higher education institutions for the prevention and neutralization of mental disorders in students in a epidemiological situation. The purpose of the article is to reveal the features of the organization of universities to prevent mental disorders in student youth during the pandemic.
