Puskesmas Astambul merupakan puskesmas yang capaian pemberian ASI eksklusifnya mengalami penurunan beberapa tahun terakhir, dengan cakupan ASI eksklusif tahun 2015, 2016, 2017, dan 2018 sebesar 52,1 %, 38,1%, 22,60%, dan 26,22%. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis hubungan variabel budaya dan dukungan keluarga dengan keputusan pemberian ASI eksklusif di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Astambul. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah ibu hamil trimester III pada tahun 2019 di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Astambul yaitu K1 sebanyak 727 ibu hamil dan K4 sebanyak 654 ibu hamil. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu sebagian dari ibu hamil trimester III di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Astambul sebanyak 102 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa variabel budaya berhubungan dengan keputusan pemberian ASI eksklusif (p= 0,008). Sedangkan variabel dukungan keluarga tidak berhubungan dengan keputusan pemberian ASI eksklusif (p= 0,093). The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between cultural variables and family support with the decision of exclusive breastfeeding in the Astambul Health Center work area. The population in this study were pregnant women in the third trimester of 2019 in the Astambul Health Center working area, namely K1 as many as 727 pregnant women and K4 as many as 654 pregnant women. The sample in this study were some of the third trimester pregnant women in the working area of the Astambul Health Center as many as 102 respondents. The results showed that cultural variables were associated with exclusive breastfeeding decisions (p = 0.008). Meanwhile, family support variables were not related to exclusive breastfeeding decisions (p = 0.093).
