To do so, in the first moment, we contextualize what is meant by environmental education, its actors, principles and its importance for the preservation of the environment. Next, the values intended for environmental education are examined in the annual budgetary laws of the Union. The hypothetical-deductive method is used for the final considerations and the aid of the statistical method for the analysis of the budgetary data, referring to bibliographic material and legislation. Abstract
