Abstract

The objective of this work is to provide basic insights associated with the frequency control loop of grid-tied synchronverter. Specifically, a unified realization of grid-tied system for both abc and dq based approaches is presented. The control aspects and parameter design of the frequency control loop are revisited to assess the system dynamics for different study cases. The values of control parameters calculated and tuned in sequence for the mentioned study cases are discussed to give cognizance with the design of control parameters.
