Abstract
For an indoor MIMO system, the influence of the obstacle position between the transmitting and receiving parts of the system on the value of the transmission coefficients for each channel is considered. The statistical parameters of the channel matrix elements are calculated. It is shown that the standard deviation of the transmission coefficient's amplitude and its mathematical expectation are quantities of the same order. Consequently, the values of the channel matrix elements will have a significant spread, commensurable with the value of the mathematical expectation.
