EFEKTIFITAS PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN TERHADAP TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN REMAJA PUTRI TENTANG SADARI DI PONDOK PESANTREN NURUL HARAMAIN NARMADA LOMBOK BARAT

Abstract

Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer suffered by women in the world. According to data from the 2017 NTB health profile the number of positive cases of lumps in NTB district and city health centers was 126 cases, and data from NTB Hospital regarding the number of breast cancer patients in 2015 were 104 patients and in 2018 it reached 796 breast cancer patients. The purpose of this study was to study the effectiveness of health education on the level of knowledge and practice of young women about self breast examination in Nurul Haramain Islamic Boarding School. The design of this study was Pre Experimental Design by designing a Post Test Pre Test Group for 30 teenagers. Sampling is done by stratified random sampling. Data analysis uses the Wilcoxon signed rank test. From the results of the study obtained a value of P value 0,000 (p value < ∝ = 0.1). So the hypothesis decision to accept Ha or effective health education to increase adolescent knowledge about self breast examination.
