Abstract
The paper deals with an idea of misuse RPG-7V as a recoilless howitzer. Although its ammunition – PG-7V – is intended to fight armoured vehicles, it is possible to fire it in variety of elevation angles to reach horizontal ranges up to 850 m, when it self-destructs. Furthermore when self-destruction part is deactivated the maximum range boosts up to 1730 m at normal conditions and up to 2300 m at specific conditions. Even though accuracy and also anti-personnel terminal ballistics effect are very limited when used in proposed way, it may bring easily terror to urban areas as well as to allied bases. Determination of PG-7V flight performance in indirect fire as outcome of this paper is possibly basis in order to determine a weapon danger zone and also the first step to design countermeasures.
