Monte Carlo Simulation of the Influence of High-frequency Electromagnetic Field on the Static Current-voltage Characteristic of the Superlattice

Abstract

The influence of high-frequency electric field on static current-voltage characteristic of the superlattice is investigated on the base of semiclassical Monte Carlo modeling. It is shown that in this problem the constant relaxation time approximation is in a good agreement with Monte Carlo modeling which take in account electron scattering on phonons.
