Data-based Analysis on the Changes of Medication in Military Outpatient Clinic of a Military Hospital in 2014 and 2018

Abstract

Abstract: To understand the changing trend and characteristics of drug use in out-patient patients, analyse the irrational phenomenon of drug use in military personnel at present, and provide scientific basis for further doing out-patient work. Retrospective data-based analysis of the medical records and prescription drugs in the military outpatient department in 2014 and 2018, analysis of the composition of the patients, the distribution and ranking of the top 20 drugs, and the prescription review of multiple visits and more frequent drugs. The medical and wounded in the military outpatient department are mainly officers and soldiers, accounting for about 90%, and mainly cadres and soldiers below the regiment. More than 90% of the soldiers visited 1-5 times in each year, and more than 70% of the cadres below the regiment level visited 1-5 times in each year. Military outpatient drug use varieties are increasingly concentrated, the most prominent feature is the cardiovascular and orthopaedic Chinese patent medicine increased significantly. There is irrational drug use in the military outpatient service, which mainly consists of many patients and drugs with more. Li Xianyu and Mao Libin contributes equally to the study. The military hospital is a medical unit of the officers and men, which undertakes the tasks of prevention, medical treatment, health care and health education, and plays the role of health maintenance in the health work of the army. In this paper, the outpatient medical records and prescription drug records of the outpatient department of a military hospital in 2014 and 2018 are analysed and compared, and the trends and characteristics of the drug use of the patients in the outpatient department are analysed and analysed The irrational phenomenon of human drug use provides scientific basis for further doing outpatient work, improving medical service and management level.
