Awareness of orthodontic treatment among parents of children 5-17 years of age in Kanchipuram district – A survey

Abstract

Aim: To assess the awareness of Orthodontic treatment among parents of children 5-17 years of age in Kanchipuram District. Materials and Methods: A cross sectional survey was conducted in randomly selected five private schools in Kanchipuram district. Nearly 2000 parents of children 5-17 years of age among the five selected schools were participated in the survey. A self-administered structured questionnaire was given to the children to be filled by their parents.
