Abstract

Industrial appliances requires wide range of voltage as well as power levels. Multilevel inverter became popular in the arena of medium voltage and higher power rating application as the better solution. It generates higher staircase output voltage levels employing lower value of voltage sources with required number of power electronics switches. Switching losses reduces in-return provides better power factor by increasing the levels of output voltage.
