Abstract

The enumeration method is very inefficient for integer-voxel displacement search of the digital volume correlation (DVC) method. In this paper, three intelligent algorithms with global search capabilities, the ant colony algorithm (ACA), the genetic algorithm (GA) and the simulated annealing algorithm (SAA), are introduced into DVC. Through simulated speckle experiments, the search accuracy and speed of these three algorithms are studied and compared.
