Abstract

Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) is one of the most popular Additive manufacturing (AM) techniques for its safety, wide range of materials, and product's properties. However, some essential improvements are needed in the process for it to bloom in the industrial field. The improvements are related to issues such as Dimensional accuracy, Surface finish, and Mechanical properties enhancement. As these issues are linked - directly or indirectly- to process parameters, it is primordial to have a clear idea about them. A thorough classification of these parameters was presented as well as the impact on the final product properties.
