Abstract

I suppose nobody is going to confront the idea that designing an energy facility is much easier, faster and, what is most important, cheaper when you use the predesigned templates called “type-defined design”. In this case, the design process is restricted to a choice of a suitable solution out of a number of pre-developed options, filling in forms with numerical data of a certain facility parameters, and completing the drawings title blocks with the proper titles and names of the designers. It should also be noted that once you study one of the substations, you would easily recognize all the others built using such approach, which will result in manifold multiplication of the above benefits as long as you continue operating variations of this design.
