Abstract

Literary reading lessons are of particular importance for the formation of spiritual and moral values among younger schoolchildren. This is due to the fact that students get acquainted with literary works, the content of which reveals many issues and problems of aesthetics, ethics, the spiritual world of a person, moral choice. Reading literature in primary school is not only about reading texts and analyzing individual issues, but also about developing the spiritual and moral sphere of students, introducing them to spirituality. Consideration of the question of the formation of spiritual and moral values through literary works requires clarification of the specifics of the actual development of these values by students of this age.
